Company DescriptionLancashire Mole Control is small, energetic business offering the control of unwanted mole activity by the use of traditional mole catcher skills to a wide variety of clients throughout Lancashire. The business, which is based in Warton near Preston, was established in 2008 and the owner has over 30 years experience as a mole catcher.
The business offers expert and professional mole control to all clients, which is intended to be cost effective at all times. Using the most effective and humane traps available, the business also has a friendly, polite and accommodating approach to removing unwanted moles from a client's property.
Lancashire Mole Control is a member of The Guild of British Molecatchers. As such it operates accordingly to conform to all current rules, regulations and codes of practise for the control of moles by trap use. Lancashire Mole Control has an expanding and satisfied network of clients, located throughout the whole of the Lancashire region, including homeowners, farmers and landowners, commercial businesses and organisations, golf courses and equestrian operations. The business is owned by John Noblett. He was born on a farm and naturally learnt the skills and knowledge to become an efficient mole catcher from an early age. John Noblett therefore has many years of experience in dealing with moles and can adapt easily to any situation where a mole catcher may be required. Recently John was appointed Regional Representative for the Guild of British Molecatchers and has now accepted the position of President of the Guild.

Levelling of molehills in larger gardens and paddocks by use of quad bike and either chain harrows (which can be quite aggressive) or by horse sand ménage leveller. This leveller does not damage the turf, but it is not suitable for hard consolidated molehills. Rabbit control carried out at the same time as mole control or as a separate contract. The use of low powered air rifles right up to .17HMR rifles means I have the right tools for any given location, from small gardens to large open farmland. This method can be very productive when done correctly; up to 30 rabbits an hour can be culled in some locations. |
